Although Tsunade is over fifty years old, she maintains a young appearance through a constant Transformation Technique. She has a violet rhombus on her forehead, a chakra gathering point known as the Yin Seal. Tsunade has fair skin and brown eyes. Except for her bangs, which are parted in the middle and fall down the sides of her face, Tsunade's long, blonde hair is tied into two ponytails using bands in the same colour as the seal on her forehead.

She often wears a grass-green robe with the kanji for gamble (賭, kake) written in black on the back, inside a red circle. Underneath she wears a gray, kimono-style blouse with no sleeves, held closed by a broad, dark bluish-grey obi that matches her trousers. Her blouse is closed quite low, revealing her sizeable cleavage.

She wears open-toed sandals with low heels and nail polish in the same colour as her trousers and obi on both her fingernails and toenails. She used to wear the First Hokage's Necklace in clear view on her chest, before giving it to Naruto Uzumaki.

Personal Information
Personality: Tsunade typically projects a tough demeanor, even when facing great personal difficulty, and rarely compliments or praises people. She readily criticizes others for their faults, such as Naruto for his immaturity, or Jiraiya for his perversion, though her habits are rarely any better. On occasion, though, Tsunade shows sympathy for others, consoling Shikamaru that, while he failed his mission to return Sasuke to Konoha, all of his teammates survived. This is also shown when she worked hard in order to help heal Rock Lee, so that he might continue to be a ninja. She also allowed herself to cry when she learned of Jiraiya's death, though not in public view.

The deaths of Dan and Nawaki greatly changed Tsunade; Dan's death, and her failed attempt to save him, gave her hemophobia (a fear of blood), causing her to freeze upon seeing it. The repeated returns of the necklace to her also led her, and many others to believe that it was cursed, and whoever Tsunade might give it to would die soon after.

Tsunade is also a compulsive gambler, who has the unfortunate disadvantage of having terrible luck. As a result, she has been elevated to a comical status as "The Legendary Sucker" (伝説のカモ, Densetsu no Kamo), for the gross profits others have made off of her misfortune and gambling addiction. In the rare instances that Tsunade hits a winning streak, she believes it to be a bad omen, and bad things do tend to happen to her or her comrades afterwards. The symbol on the back of her coat, 賭 (kake), means "gamble", or "wager", as gambling is one of her favorite pastimes.

Description: This technique is designed by Tsunade to seal demons. It is performed with four separate scrolls and a sample of blood similar to a Summoning Technique. Shizune mentioned that good chakra control and concentration is needed to perform the sealing technique. To use this technique, a scroll is needed to seal the numerous amounts of chakra. This technique is apparently supposed to seal the Three-Tailed Giant Turtle in its own dimension, permanently. This jutsu has three stages: a "Search" stage, a "Bind" stage, and a "Lock" stage in capturing the target.

Search-In search mode, the users need to find the area where the thing being sealed is. Then they need to go directly on top of the Three-Tailed Giant Turtle and use the Bind stage.

Bind-In bind mode, the users start using a bit more of the jutsu. They need to bind the Three-Tailed Giant Turtle so that it cannot escape, and this helps them to use the Lock stage.

Lock-In lock mode, the users lock the target into spot so that they may commence the sealing of the Three-Tailed Giant Turtle.

Description: This medical technique forms one's chakra into a small, sharp blade. This can then be used for highly accurate incisions necessary for surgeries and anatomical dissections. Unlike regular scalpels, the Chakra Scalpel can actually make cuts inside the body without actually creating an open wound, limiting the risks of an infection.

The Chakra Scalpel can also be used offensively, although it requires great precision to be effective. Because of this requirement, using the Chakra Scalpel offensively is highly unusual. In heated combat, even the greatest medical-nin won't be able to exert the precision needed to make fatal cuts, but it can still effectively cut muscle tissues and tendons, rendering the target immobile

Description: Over time, Tsunade concentrates her chakra to a spot on her forehead that takes the form of a diamond. When she releases the seal, the chakra disperses and stimulates the proteins of her body to increase the speed of cell division and reconstruction of cells for as long as she has enough chakra. This allows her to recreate all organs and tissues, thus it is known as the absolute pinnacle of medical ninjutsu. The technique itself does not regenerate the old cells, rather it hastens the creation of new ones through division.

However, a body's cells can only split a certain number of times in a lifetime, and by speeding up this process, Tsunade is shortening her natural lifespan. To what degree is unknown, but what is clear is that it is not great enough to cause her to die in battle, as she herself says that she gains a form of "immortality" throughout the duration of the technique.

According to the second databook, Creation Rebirth was developed by Tsunade for the sake of continuing to protect the lives of her comrades. That is the resolution hidden in this technique.

Description: Before a summon can be performed, a prospective summoner must first sign a contract with a given species. The contract can come in the form of a scroll or a tattoo. The summoner then signs the contract in their own blood. After this, they need only perform the hand seals, offer an additional donation of blood, and use the same hand they signed the contract with to summon the creature. The amount of chakra used during the summoning determines how big the summoned creature can be. It should be noted that anyone can summon the animal as long as they have the blood from someone who has made a contract, along with sufficient chakra of their own

Slugs (蛞蝓, Namekuji) are the trademark summon of Tsunade, though Katsuyu has been the only slug seen summoned by Tsunade in the series. .

Slugs' offensive abilities seem to revolve around shooting acid from their mouths, similar to the way toads use oil. Slugs have also been shown to be able to divide themselves into many smaller replicas, though this ability may be unique to Katsuyu due to her size. Slugs may also be able to absorb chakra and even control it to some extent,

Description: This technique is a combination between Tsunade and her slug summon Katsuyu. First, Katsuyu divides her body into many smaller clones with Slug Great Division, and attaches to a person. Then Tsunade can channel her medical chakra through the body of Katsuyu, who then transfers it to the wounded person, healing any damage. To do so, Tsunade must stay inside a ritual seal. This technique apparently requires great concentration and consumes a lot of chakra, but allows Tsunade to heal an enormous number of people at the same time even if she's very far from them. If she runs out of normal chakra, she can use Yin Seal: Release to obtain extra supplements.

Description: This medical ninjutsu allows the user to speed up the body's natural healing process by sending chakra from their hands into a wound or afflicted body part. This allows the user to heal a patient without the need for medical equipment or surgery, making it highly useful on the battlefield. It can be used to treat both external and internal injuries. It is vital to match the amount of chakra used to the severity of the affliction or injury. This requires a great amount of chakra control. Because of this, only a few highly skilled medical-nin are able to use this technique. In Part II, Kabuto demonstrated the ability to use it a short distance away from the target instead of close contact.

By sending an excess amount of chakra into the patient's body, the user can overload the patient's normal circulation, trapping them in a comatose state. Although this is usually undesirable, Kabuto Yakushi once effectively used this side effect to get Kiba Inuzuka out of his way.

History and RP Sample
History: Tsunade is the granddaughter of the First Hokage, and the grandniece of the Second Hokage, leading other characters to call her "Princess" (姫, Hime). She is, along with Jiraiya and Orochimaru, a former student of the Third Hokage Hiruzen Sarutobi. Tsunade is well-known for her extremely large breasts (106 centimeters, according to Jiraiya's estimate), despite the fact that Jiraiya referred to her as "flat-chested Tsunade" during their childhood. In addition, during a flashback, it is shown that Team Hiruzen underwent the same initial training as Team Kakashi, and had to capture bells from their sensei. The flashback shows Tsunade and Orochimaru were the ones to capture one bell each out of the two existent ones, while Jiraiya was tied to a pole.

During the Second Great Shinobi World War, Tsunade and her former teammates fought Hanzō, who gave them the title of Konoha's "Three Legendary Shinobi" (伝説の三忍, Densetsu no Sannin) as a reward for surviving the strife of their battle. On their way back to Konoha, they encountered the Ame Orphans, who Jiraiya chose to train. Throughout the war, she would become famous for frequently counteracting Chiyo's poisoning attempts, earning contempt from Chiyo because of it. Furthermore, according to Jiraiya, Tsunade was the one to bring them victory in the war.

At some point throughout, however, on her brother's twelfth birthday, Tsunade gave him their grandfather's crystal necklace, in the hopes that it would help him achieve his dream of becoming Hokage. The next day, he died as a casualty of the war, which returned the necklace to Tsunade's possession. Sometime afterwards, Tsunade fell in love with a man named Dan, who also wanted to become Hokage. As a sign of her affection, and in the hopes that it would help make his dreams come true, Tsunade gave him the amulet as well. Dan, too, would go on to die a bloody death during the course of the war, once again returning the necklace to her possession.

With the deaths of the two she loved the most, Tsunade came to lose faith in the title of Hokage, believing that only fools would want such a position. With these changes of ideals, Tsunade left Konoha with Dan's niece, Shizune, taking her in as her apprentice.
